BLUE INSPIRED ART & MATH

The students at Granite Falls Middle School are working hard at Blue related projects in preparation for my visit next week.

A few pics from Randy Seldomridge's Language Arts class at Granite Falls Middle School.

God's Bottle Collection. I love the variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Am excited to see this next week when I visit their school.

I'm also looking forward to meeting Ann Fay Honeycutt and friend. Could that be Junior Bledsoe in the background?

Kimberly Hindman's math class is creating to-scale, a model of the Miracle of Hickory hospital.
Group work is so much fun!
Precision!
Thanks to Kimberly Hindman for the pics!

BLUE ART

The welcome sign on my blog header was created by students at White Knoll Middle School where I visited in November 2008. I love the letters, each of which was created by gluing Blue related images onto the basic letter shape. The overall effect is quite beautiful and each letter is a work of art!

Can you find these items in the E below? (Hitler, iron lung, yellow rose, overalls, Franklin Roosevelt, pickup truck, wisteria, and a famous scene from WWII)
